INTRODUCTION
Hi, I'm David, born in the Czech Republic, now calling Sydney home.
I founded AK Productions in 2023, carrying on a tradition my grandfather started over 20 years ago when he filmed weddings across Australia and Europe. That legacy lives in every film I make.
There are three things I love most in this world: my family, great experiences, and filmmaking. You're here because of the last one, and I can't wait to be part of your day.
On a wedding day I like to focus on capturing the most cinematic, clean, Netflix like shots!
Every couple is different, every love story is different, and your film should be too. I take the time to understand what matters most to you, then I build your film around that. In the editing process I like to use creative sound design, a mix of camera angles and a deeply personal approach to make something you'll want to watch again and again, for the rest of your lives.
Hi, I'm Kate, David's partner both behind the camera and in life.
Photography was actually where my journey with a camera started. Before joining David at AK Production Sydney, I spent my time photographing engagements and family portraits.
I love the feeling of being part of someone's wedding day and capturing all those moments that happen naturally along the way.
While David focuses on the cinematic shots I love the little things. The nervous smiles, the quiet glances, the laughs between friends, the moments that happen when nobody realises the camera is there. Those are often the moments that make a film feel truly personal.
When I'm not filming weddings, you'll probably find me spending time with family and friends, travelling, or planning our next adventure together.
